I don’t know if I want to add forums to my site or not. I have a sort of specific purpose in mind, but I’m not sure if this is the right medium. Convince me, one way other. Good idea? Bad Idea?

So, I’m not getting the confirmation e-mail yet… Here are my opinions anyway:
I don’t know what your current intentions are for the forum, but I think as a game design forum it’ll be really great. Put up prototypes, talk about playtests, mechanics, and so forth… Yeah, I think that could be pretty cool if it were a forum all of it’s own (although I’m sure there is one somewhere) besides a sub-forum on RPG.net and ENWorld.com.
Also, consider maybe having a SPUC sub-forum, for people who don’t have blogs.

A SPUC sub-forum is a good idea. As for the specific plans for the forum, those will come to light fairly soon.
