The Charter clearly states on page 13 that new members get a one week trial period during which they can quit at any time without being hit in the knees with ax handles. Members meeting this criteria will instead be bludgeoned in forearms with a tent pole.

I want to make a proposal for the SPUC charter. A new idea should have a one week trial period - if, after that week is up, the person doesn't feel as though they like the idea enough to do anything with it, then they can remove it from their list without getting hit in the knees by the other SPUC members. Once the trial period is up, they have to keep the idea or risk getting hit in the knees.

However, if you abuse the privilege… we're gonna hit you in the knees anyway. Because that's just who we are.
